Are you insured?

Yes. We are currently insured with Protectivity including professional indemnity. We are fully licenced for Professional Dog Walking and Home Boarding (LN/000017434). DBS checked and Canine First Aid trained. All certificates are available upon request.

Will I meet my Dog Walker?

Yes. Absolutely. We offer one free face to face consultation to get to know you and your dog before service begins. This is your prime opportunity to ask any burning questions you may have.

Where are you based?

We currently offer service in the following locations: Harrow, Rayners Lane, Pinner, Ruislip, Ickenham, Hillingdon & Uxbridge. Walks will be conducted throughout these locations.

How many dogs are on a walk at one time?

LNC Walks is insured for up to 6 dogs per handler. Groups are carefully curated based on a number of components from sex, age, play style, breed and personality. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

How long are your walks?

Walks typically are up to an hour throughout the year depending on weather, light and a number of other circumstances. Pick up and Drop off are not included in these times so you can be rest assured your dog will get the maximum time outside.

I want my dog to be walked at a specific time?

Whilst we appreciate you may have a specific routine at home with your dog, we cannot always accommodate such specific requests due to high volumes of clients. Whilst we always endeavour to meet our clients individual needs we do ask that you are flexible with your timings throughout the day. If you have questions surrounding these please get in touch.

Do you collect/ drop off my dog for their walk?

Yes. We will collect your dog before their walk and return them when their walk is over. Collection and Drop off are included in the price but not in the walk so you can be rest assured they will receive the maximum amount of time enjoying the great outdoors.

Do I need to be home when you collect or drop off my dog?

No. Most clients are comfortable with sharing a set of keys or a code to a safety deposit box. Sharing a set of keys will enable us to collect and drop off your dog even when you’re not home.

How do you transport the dogs?

Dogs are transported safely in our fully equipped and insured dog vans with custom built cages. Our vehicles are fitted with dashcams as well as temperature control to ensure the dogs are safe and happy being transported to and from their walks.

What do you do in the event of an emergency?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, when safe to do so we will call to notify you. Once you’ve completed our forms we will also have your nominated emergency contact details in the event you’re unavailable as well as your nominated vet in the event we need to take your dog for veterinary treatment, or depending on the circumstance, the nearest possible vet. We do ask you to inform your vet of your permission for us to seek treatment for your dog on your behalf to prevent any delays in medical care should they arise.

My dog hasn’t been spayed/neutered, will you take my dog?

Yes. Each dog is considered based on their own merit, we do reserve the right to refuse any dog.

Do you take bitches in season?

If your bitch comes into season it is imperative that we are notified immediately. Your dog will be removed from group settings and placed on solo walks if available until their season is over.

What happens if my dog doesn’t get on with another dog?

Groups are closely monitored to ensure that dogs compliment each other. If an imbalance occurs we will act accordingly and notify you of our decision. It is our priority that all dogs are happy and safe on their walks.

My dog wears a muzzle will you take my dog?

Yes. Dogs are assessed based on merit not on what they wear, upon assessment we can cater to your dogs needs accordingly. Even if that means them wearing a muzzle.

What security measures do you have?

All keys are locked away in a safe when they’re not in use and away from personal information so they cannot be identified to any individual property. In the event a key is lost or stolen you will be notified immediately. An AirTag is attached to our main keys in the event they are misplaced. All personal information is stored securely and will never be sold or discussed with any third parties in accordance with GDPR. All Dog Walkers wear a camera on all dog walks. All dogs wear GPS Tractive Trackers when on their walks. All dogs are required to wear a collar and tag in accordance with UK Law. We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog is not attired accordingly.

Is there a minimum requirement to book?

Yes. A minimum of 2 walks per week is required to maintain a place on our books and receive exclusive access to other services and discounts. Unfortunately we are unable to provide adhoc walking bookings to non-regular clients.

Do you offer boarding?

Yes. Exclusive to regular walking clients of LNC Walks. This service has limited availability for selected clients. We hold a licence with Harrow Council (LN/000017434) Full details regarding our home boarding service can be found on our service menu. For dogs that may not be suitable for boarding we do offer in-home pet sitting which is conducted in your home.

When are you available to walk my dog?

We walk all day, Monday to Friday. Please see our opening hours on our contact page for more details. Requests can be made for off-hours walking/ weekends/ bank holidays. However these will be subject to price increases. We reserve the right to turn down service on these days.

Do you walk dogs off lead?

Generally yes…All dogs begin on long lines until your dog walker is satisfied that your dog’s recall is reliable. Once the off leash agreement form has been read, understood and signed then your dog can enjoy freedom without the long line.

What happens in bad weather?

We get wet, very wet and muddy. We will do what we can to clean your dog off after their walk as much as possible. We do ask that a clean towel is left by the door so we can do a final dry off to get any excess off, but we cannot guarantee they will be 100% squeaky clean.

What do you do in hot weather?

In the summer months we pay close attention to the forecast and temperature throughout the day. All clients are immediately notified of any changes to service that will affect them. Walks may be shortened, swapped to drop ins or cancelled if deemed appropriate by the dog walker. Dogs will always have access to water and shade on sunny days. Our van is equipped with temperature control systems to ensure dogs are cool when being transported.

Can you administer my pets medication?

Yes. We are happy to administer any medication for your pet(s) in accordance with any written instruction.

I have other animals in my house. Do you take care of those on pet sits?

Yes. Please let us know upon booking so we can quote you accordingly.

I have more than one dog in my household, do I get a discount?

Yes, multi-dog households will receive 10% off the additional dog per walking service and additional discounts on other services. Please contact us for an accurate quote.

How do I pay for my walks?

Payment can be made via Bank Transfer ahead of services commencing. Invoices can be provided upon request.

What happens if you’re not available to walk my dog?

We will always endeavour where possible to give you as much notice as possible, typically a month in advance. We will always do what we can to help provide you with a replacement in the event one may be needed.
